La Mère Guy was a historic restaurant in La Mulatière, France, opened in 1759 as a guinguette and later known for its matelote d’anguilles. It became one of the best-known Lyonnaise “Mères” and was closed and demolished in the early 1990s after a long run of more than two centuries.
